Oven Bacon
Our neighbours showed me how to make “oven bacon” a couple years ago, and I’m pretty sure I never looked back. There’s zero splatter to clean up afterward, it doesn’t require constant attention, and creates the most perfect texture of bacon every time. Sometimes it’s the simplest tips that make all the difference!
Recipe
Oven Bacon
1 package of bacon (I like thick-cut, but use what you like best!)
Cookie Sheet
Aluminum Foil
Directions
Spread bacon in a single layer on a foil-covered cookie sheet.
Place pan in middle rack of the oven and start preheating your oven to 425 degrees.
Cook until oven reaches 425. At this point, bacon should be done and you can take it out, but depending on your oven, you might need to give the bacon a couple more minutes.
Remove bacon to a paper towel-lined plate and blot off excess fat.
Enjoy perfect, crispy-but-not-too-crispy bacon!
